Otherwise, the thick mass may burn. Finely chop the garlic and add it to the tomatoes 5 minutes before the end of cooking. At the same time you need to add seasonings. Our sauce is ready. Mushrooms are cut into thin slices, then rolled in flour and fried in butter (butter). Hard cheese is grated. Mushrooms are placed on the base and cheese is sprinkled on top, after which spices are added.

Chicken filling

Onions and carrots need to be finely chopped and fried in oil. Place the finished mixture on the base, place chicken meat, tomatoes and bell peppers, chopped into slices, on top. Before baking, grease the top of the pizza with mayonnaise and garlic sauce.

Egg filling

The base is coated with tomato sauce. Sprinkle everything with cheese on top. Then ribbons are cut from the zucchini, which are laid out on the cake. For eggs, depressions are made in the base and eggs are broken into them. Sprinkle the dish with basil on top and sprinkle with oil.

Pizza with cheese

What kind of cheese is added to the option - it is Parmesan or mozzarella with the most delicate creamy taste. Spicy Dorblu cheese and soft, slightly sweet cheese are also suitable. Each of the above varieties gives the dish a special taste and aroma.

However, such cheeses are not always available, so housewives use almost all types of hard cheese. The beauty of mozzarella is that it melts beautifully during cooking and permeates the entire dish. It does not need to be grated like hard varieties, but rather cut into slices and cover the entire surface with it.

Sometimes housewives have a question: when to add cheese to pizza? As a rule, cheese is sprinkled on the base, and then it is added on top of the entire filling. In principle, in this matter you can show your imagination and make your own adjustments to existing recipes. A lot depends on what cheeses you use. If it is mozzarella or parmesan, then they are placed on top, and hard ones can be added at all stages of cooking.

Using different types of this wonderful product, you can prepare a very special pizza called “four cheeses”. To do this, mix the beaten egg with mayonnaise. Cut the tomato into thin slices and the onion into half rings. Grind Kostroma cheese, Dutch cheese and edam on a grater. Apply mayonnaise mixture to the base, add eggs, add tomatoes and onions. Divide the olives into halves and also place on the crust. At the end, sprinkle the pizza with cheese very well.

Pizza Seasonings

Spices and seasonings not only add flavor to a dish, but also significantly improve its taste. But what seasoning is added to pizza? Currently, there is simply an endless number of different combinations of seasonings for a dish. When choosing different ingredients, you can always experiment to achieve the perfect taste for you.

The main spices and aromatic ingredients used to make pizza are: basil (purple or green), oregano (oregano), fennel, parsley, rosemary, marjoram and thyme. In addition, bay leaves, coriander, garlic, cardamom and cumin are often used.

In Italy, the most popular seasoning is oregano. We can say that this is the main addition to the dish. But oregano is valued for its slightly bitter but pleasant taste. Sometimes basil is used instead of oregano. Moreover, many chefs prefer French basil.

But parsley is used to make sauce. But it is worth remembering that this herb has a very strong taste, so you need to add it in moderation. The bay leaf makes the dish truly Italian. It is actively used for making sauces because it has a sharp, rich taste. It is recommended to add dry spices to the dough, but it is better to put fresh ones on the crust.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with seasonings, because they give the dish a unique aroma and taste. Each housewife can create her own combination of herbs and spices, or you can purchase ready-made seasonings in the store.

Pizza is a tasty and satisfying dish that is ideal for any table. website I have prepared a few secrets that will allow you to make amazing pizza.

Secret 1: Knead the dough correctly

You will need:

  • 900 g flour
  • 10 g yeast (fresh)
  • 0.5 l water
  • 10 g vegetable oil (or olive oil)
  • 20 g sea salt (finely ground)

Be sure to knead the dough in a calm, warm environment and in a good mood. To make the dough airy, sift the flour through a sieve. In a bowl, dilute the yeast with cold water until completely dissolved. Gently add half the flour portion and mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Then add the rest of the flour and salt.

Secret 2: Add olive oil

It is better to add olive oil to the mixed mass, which will add elasticity. Mix everything thoroughly. Then put the dough out of the bowl onto the table and knead it until it comes off your hands.

Secret 3: Roll out the dough with your hands

Divide the dough into several parts and leave it to rise at room temperature for about 1 hour. It should increase in volume by 2 times.
Using your hands, roll out the dough into a thin layer. Sprinkle the surface of the dough with flour and begin to gently stretch it from the middle to the edges. In this case, it is advisable to hold the middle of the cake with your hand. We make the edges a little thicker for the sides.

Secret 4: Create a crispy crust

Grease the baking pan with olive oil and sprinkle with flour so that the dough does not stick to the pan. Place the filling and place in a preheated oven (180-200 degrees) for about 10 minutes.

Secret 5: Selecting the sauce

For a medium-sized pizza, add no more than 3 tablespoons of sauce. As a sauce we use not only traditional tomato paste, but also soft cream cheese, hummus, squash caviar or pesto sauce. We monitor the consistency of the sauce: it should not be liquid, otherwise the dough will “float”.

Secret 6: Choosing the filling

Be concise and do not use more than 4 ingredients in one pizza. There should be only one layer of filling and no more than 1 centimeter. You should not fill the entire surface of the dough with ingredients, because there will be a layer of grated cheese on top.

Place ingredients such as greens and lettuce on the pizza before serving.

Classic pizza with ham

We cut the sweet pepper into small strips, the ham into slices, and the salami into a semicircle. Spread the dough with tomato sauce, lay out the ham, salami, pepper in a circle and sprinkle generously with cheese.

Pizza with mushrooms and onions

We cut the mushrooms as small as possible and fry them in a small amount of olive oil, then adding a little heavy cream. You should get a mushroom paste, which we spread onto the dough as a base, place thin onion rings on top and sprinkle with Parmesan.

P Pizza is the first product of Italian cuisine to become widespread worldwide. Now you can try it in any country in the world, and everywhere it has its own specifics - in India they add ginger to pizza, in France it is prepared using several types of cheese, in Japan they actively use seafood, etc. The popularity of pizza is global. In the United States alone, there are almost 65 thousand pizzerias, which spend more than $32 billion annually.

The birthplace of pizza is Italy. More precisely, Naples, where everyone’s favorite product was originally the food of peasants and warriors - it is not only tasty, but also extremely satisfying. True, pizza was originally understood as an ordinary flatbread, which was cooked on hot fires under a layer of coals. Then a variety of products were laid out on it. This dish was spread throughout the Mediterranean - from Egypt to Greece. In each country, the flatbread-plate absorbed local culinary traditions, which were passed on from people to people with merchants and sailors.

This transnational product turned into pizza in the modern sense of the word in Naples, where the classic “flatbread-cheese-tomatoes” combination was invented, without which the dish that is offered to guests of modern pizzerias is impossible. Neapolitans believe that real pizza is prepared only according to recipes invented in their city. “Everything else is just ordinary sandwiches,” they say.

By the way, pizza quickly ceased to be a purely proletarian product - at the end of the 19th century it became the food of kings. And it happened like this. The Neapolitan king Umberto had a wife named Margaret. Probably trying to gain popularity among her subjects, she invited the then famous pizza maker Raffaele Esposito to cook pizza for her. The Queen was offered three varieties of this product. More than any other, the royal liked the pizza, which included tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Margarita liked this dish so much that she even allowed it to be named after her. Since then, Margherita pizza has been considered royal - its recipe has remained unchanged to this day.

In an ordinary Italian cafe, pizza is prepared in about 10 minutes. It is accompanied by a fork and a knife with serrated teeth - cutting the bottom crust is not as easy as it might seem at first glance. Real Italian pizza is eaten with your hands only in American films. The cost of pizza depends on the type chosen, as well as the prestige of the cafe and the city where you are visiting. In the tiny town of Savona on the Ligurian Sea coast, a Napolitana pizza recently cost me €6.50. Exactly the same one in the center of Naples cost twice as much.

In general, the price range for pizza in Italy is from 5 to 15 euros. The cheapest variety is Margherita pizza. The most expensive (most often) is pizza with seafood. Even though Italy is washed by the sea on almost all sides, seafood delicacies are very expensive there.

Pizza is a dish designed for one person. If you are not hungry, you can ask for one for two, but if your plans include a normal lunch, know that you won’t be satisfied with half.

The main thing in pizza is, of course, the dough. You can prepare it using “live” or “dry” yeast.

Cover and place in a warm place to rise for 60 minutes. Knead the dough, divide into 2 portions and roll out each portion on a floured surface into a circle with a diameter of 30 cm.

Pizza dough with dry yeast

  • 200 ml warm water
  • 2.5-3 cups premium flour
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions: In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add 1.5 cups of flour and mix it well with the yeast with a large spoon. Add butter, salt and remaining flour, knead elastic dough. Grease the bowl in which the dough will rise with olive oil and place the dough in it, turning it several times so that it is all coated with olive oil. Cover with a towel and let it rise until doubled in size, this will take approximately 1 hour.

50 gr. salted salmon
60 gr. Mozzarella cheese
30 gr. hard Gouda cheese
tomato sauce
oregano, dry dill

This is one of my favorite toppings; the pizza turns out tender, tasty and quite light. An ideal option for seafood lovers.
So, apply a thin layer of tomato sauce onto the prepared base. Distribute the sliced Mozzarella cheese evenly over the surface of the pizza.
Add pieces of salted salmon and raw shrimp. It is very convenient to use already peeled frozen shrimp.
Sprinkle with grated cheese, and don’t forget about the spices. That's all, our filling with shrimp and salmon is ready. Bake the pizza for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.

Pizza with salami

Filling ingredients:
100 gr. salami

50 gr. bacon or ham
50 gr. canned champignons
tomato sauce
oregano

This is also a fairly easy-to-prepare pizza topping, the main ingredient of which is salami sausage. As you know, salami has a very rich taste due to the large amount of spices and salt, so the pizza also turns out to be very aromatic and tasty.
As usual, roll out the dough thinly and place it on a baking sheet.
Apply a thin layer of thick tomato sauce.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and lay out slices of thinly sliced salami sausage.
Evenly distribute slices of canned mushrooms, as well as chopped ham or bacon, over the surface of the pizza.
Sprinkle with oregano and place the pizza in a hot oven.
Pizza is baked at 220°C. Take the finished pizza with a golden brown crust out of the oven.

Topping for “Village” pizza

Filling ingredients:
80 gr. Mozzarella cheese
50 gr. fried champignons
30 gr. bacon
30 gr. fried onions
50 gr. fried potatoes
Bechamel sauce
oregano

Country pizza is one of the few Italian pizzas that uses Bechamel sauce instead of tomato sauce, which is made with milk, butter and flour. How to prepare bechamel, read here.
In addition to the white sauce, you should also prepare all the ingredients for the pizza toppings:
- Wash the champignons, cut them into slices, and then fry them in a small amount of vegetable oil. Salt the mushrooms to taste.
- Fry finely chopped onion until golden brown.
- Fry potatoes cut into small cubes in vegetable oil.
- Cut the bacon into pieces.
- Three mozzarella cheese on a coarse grater.
We roll out the pizza dough thinly, and the word thin is the main thing, because real Italian pizza is not a Russian pie, it is always thin.
Place the thinly rolled out dough on a baking sheet. Lightly pierce the base over the entire area with a fork, and then grease it with Bechamel milk and cream sauce.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Evenly distribute bacon, fried mushrooms, onions and potatoes over the entire surface of the pizza.
Lightly crush the oregano and place the pizza in the preheated oven.
Bake rustic pizza for 10-15 minutes at 220°C. Since all the filling ingredients are ready, we monitor the readiness of the base. Once the dough is baked, remove the pizza from the oven.
Serve the pizza hot.

Vegetable pizza filling

Filling ingredients:
60 gr. Mozzarella cheese
30 gr. zucchini
30 gr. eggplant
30 gr. pitted black olives
30 gr. salad pepper
30 gr. Luke
tomato sauce
salt, oregano, ginger

Vegetarians can appreciate this tasty and at the same time light pizza. Despite the absence of meat or sausage in the filling, the pizza is juicy, aromatic and very tasty.
The peculiarity of this vegetable filling is that some of the vegetables are added fresh, and some are fried.
So, take a piece of young zucchini with a delicate skin. If the peel is thick, then cut it off. The ideal option is young zucchini. Cut into small slices.
Now take a piece of eggplant and cut it into small pieces (slices).
We cut the onions into thin feathers.
In a hot frying pan with virtually no oil, lightly fry the onion, eggplant and zucchini. At the end, salt the vegetables and crush them with ginger seasoning.
Thinly slice the sweet salad pepper. You get very beautiful pizza toppings if you take peppers of three colors: red, yellow and green, or at least two.
We cut the olives into rings.
From the pre-prepared pizza dough, pull it out with your hands or roll it out with a rolling pin into a thin base.
Lubricate the base with thick tomato sauce and sprinkle with oregano.
Distribute the grated cheese evenly. Mozzarella cheese is traditionally used, but it can be replaced with cheaper and more accessible hard cheese.

Pizza topping with pineapple

Filling ingredients:
50 gr. fresh or canned pineapple
50 gr. ham
2-3 tbsp. tomato sauce
100 gr. Mozzarella cheese
oregano
ground black pepper
basil
Unlike other pizzas, this ham and pineapple topped pizza is lighter and healthier, making the perfect dinner that's both nutritious without being heavy.
First of all, prepare the pizza dough as described in this recipe.
We form a pizza base, which we then cover with a thin layer of tomato sauce. Sprinkle spices on top.
Sprinkle the pizza base generously with grated mozzarella cheese so that it completely covers the tomato sauce.
Top with pieces of ham and pineapple pieces. That's all the pizza filling. If desired, sprinkle a little more oregano on top.
Place the baking sheet with pizza in a well-heated oven.
Bake pizza with pineapple for 10 minutes at 200 degrees. It is important that the pizza base is baked and that the delicate cheese does not burn, so it is better to place the baking sheet at the very bottom of the oven.
Hawaiian pizza topped with pineapple and ham and served hot.
Distribute fried vegetables on top of the cheese, add chopped olives and lettuce peppers.
We put all this beauty in a hot oven. Bake pizza with vegetable filling until the dough is ready, usually 10-15 minutes.

Sprinkle with pickled onions, which you can either buy or pickle yourself.
Add fresh red bell pepper cut into strips (canned can be used).
Distribute the hot green pepper pieces evenly.
Add pieces of fried chicken.

Filling for pizza "Regina"

Filling ingredients:
100 ml. tomato sauce
2 slices of smoked meat
125 gr. Mozzarella cheese
60 gr. champignons
handful of grated Gouda cheese
3-4 pcs. pitted black olives
a few fresh arugula leaves
salt pepper

The filling for Regina pizza does not require any special preparation; the pizza is literally assembled on the go. First of all, we form a round thin base from the pizza dough, which we place on a baking sheet.
Spread a thin layer of thick tomato sauce over the surface of the pizza. If purchased or homemade tomato sauce is liquid, then first fry it over fire, add salt, sugar and spices to taste.
Place thin slices of Mozzarella cheese on top of the tomato and sprinkle with grated cheese.
We put smoked meat, which can be cut into small pieces, or you can create a meat mound like this. By the way, smoked meat is often called jamon.
Scatter slices of canned or fried champignons over the pizza, add rings of black olives.
Baking tray with pizza, place the pizza in a well-heated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 210°C. Remove the finished pizza from the oven.
We decorate the stunning splendor with arugula leaves to give our pizza a slight piquant accent.

Pizza with truffle

Filling ingredients:
50 gr. truffle
150 gr. grated Mozzarella cheese
100 gr. smoked bacon
1 tomato
olive oil
salt pepper

This pizza topping is considered exquisite and quite expensive due to the rather rare and expensive truffle, but if you still have the opportunity, be sure to prepare this unusual pizza.
We form a thin base from the dough, which we place on a greased baking sheet. It is also convenient to use special baking paper.
Three ripe tomatoes on a grater. Spread 2-3 tablespoons of grated tomatoes in a thin layer over the surface of the pizza. Salt.
Sprinkle evenly with grated Mozzarella cheese. We only use half.
Either three truffles are placed on top of the cheese, or we cut it into thin slices. Then sprinkle evenly with the remaining cheese.
Place pieces of smoked bacon on top, drizzle olive oil on top and place the pizza in a well-heated oven.
We bake pizza stuffed with truffle, cheese and bacon at 200°C. When the pizza is browned, remove it from the oven.

Bon appetit!!!
