This dish is nutritious, satisfying, and looks gorgeous on any holiday table. I prepared this appetizer for the New Year, it looks gorgeous and very bright.

You can decorate with olives, sunflower seeds, or even egg yolk. There will be a blooming flower that does not yet have seeds.

If someone is preparing this dish for the first time, then don’t worry, you will succeed the first time. It's so simple that even a teenager can do this simple task. Let's start with the simplest classic recipe.

Products:

  • 200 g chicken fillet
  • 350 g champignons
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g hard cheese
  • 20 pitted olives

Wash the mushrooms and cut into cubes. Fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil until tender. Fry them, stirring occasionally. In fact, you can take pickled or wild mushrooms.

Cut the chicken fillet, previously boiled in salted water, into small pieces. Don’t forget to add spices and herbs to the water in which you cook the fillet, it will be much tastier.

You can take meat from both a chicken leg and breast, depending on what you like best.

The fillet can be boiled in advance; it is best to store it in broth, otherwise it will weather and become dry. When it is stored in broth it will be tastier and juicier. Cut into cubes.

Remove the yolks from 2 eggs and grate them on a fine grater. The remaining eggs and whites, three on a large one. Three, also, hard cheese. Our first layer is chicken fillet, grease it with mayonnaise.

For dressing, you can mix mayonnaise and sour cream in equal proportions, you will get a delicate and tasty dressing, especially if you use homemade sour cream.

The mushrooms that we fried need to be cooled. We do not display hot products. Following the chicken is a layer of mushrooms, then mayonnaise, and a layer of grated eggs.

Lay out a layer of hard cheese, level it, grease with mayonnaise. And lay out a layer of yolks. Sprinkle the salad with yolks on top.

No matter how strange it may sound, to make the dish tasty, you need to use good quality products.

We cut the olives into 2 or 4 parts, depending on their size. Lay out the olives. We wipe the edges of the plate with a napkin to remove any spilled food. Place the appetizer in the refrigerator to soak for 2 hours.

If you lubricate the layers with mayonnaise, it is better to use 67% or 72%, so the dish will be much tastier.

I would like to offer an interesting recipe, it is very tasty and beautiful, it is made from canned cod liver, and can be supplemented with rice, potatoes, fresh cucumber, and corn.

Products:

  • Potatoes 3 pcs.
  • Eggs 5 pcs.
  • Cod liver 1 jar
  • 30 grams of green onions
  • Mayonnaise

For preparation, it is better to use a round dish, since it is a round flower, and it may not look so beautiful on oval and square dishes.

The potatoes need to be boiled, cooled, peeled, and grated on a coarse grater. Distribute over the round surface of the dish.

We make a mesh of mayonnaise on top. Top with green onions; you can also use pickled onions if you don’t have green onions.

I take the cod liver in oil, drain the oil, put it on a plate, and mash it with a fork. I transfer the product to the onion.

Our next layer is grated whites. Eggs must be hard-boiled in advance, peeled, and separated from the yolks and whites. Having placed it carefully, we make a mesh of mayonnaise.

We fill it with yolks on top, and draw lines horizontally and vertically, we get squares, we will place olives in them.

We cut the olives into 4 parts, it is better to take them pitted. We sell barrels, or marinated in jars. Convenient to use without seeds.

Decorate the dish with olives and chips. Take the chips that are not broken, it is advisable that they are whole, this is what we need to beautifully decorate the salad.

It is very important that the chips are not broken, otherwise it will not be possible to decorate the dish beautifully.

We place them around the entire circumference of the dish. Now there are different chips, you can take corrugated ones, and the tastes are different. Take the flavor you like. I love cheese, bacon, and crab. You may have different preferences.

Place the chips before serving as they will get soggy. If there is absolutely no time, the dish can be served, and if time permits, let it soak for about 2 hours.

Then separate the whites from the yolks. We rub both. You can, of course, immediately grate the eggs, but this way the dish will taste more tender. Three egg whites, pour mayonnaise sauce over them. Three yolks on top.

Decorate with olives and black olives. We remove it to soak in a cool place. In winter, this could be a balcony, or a corridor if you live in your own house and it’s cold.

Then decorate with potato chips. But we do this just before serving so that they retain their appearance and crunch.

Nourishing, bright, and very tasty recipe. I don’t know who invented this dish, but as you can see, it can be decorated and decorated in different ways. I offer an interesting recipe with fried seeds.

  • smoked breast – 300 g;
  • pickled champignons – 200 g;
  • canned pineapples – 200 g;

  • onion – 1 head;

This salad is not much different from the previous version. The main difference is the use of not smoked chicken as an ingredient, but boiled or fried chicken meat. For this option you need to prepare:

  • chicken meat – 500 g;
  • fresh champignons – 500 g;
  • canned corn – 200 g;
  • eggs – 4 pcs.;
  • cheese – 200 g;
  • chips, olives, mayonnaise.

Boil or fry the chicken and then finely chop it. In principle, the meat can be baked; this will not make the salad lose its taste. At the same time, fry the mushrooms until all the liquid has evaporated. Ready mushrooms should be salted and lightly peppered. Boil the eggs and chop finely. Place the corn in a colander to drain all the brine. Grate the cheese.

  • cod liver or canned fish – 250 g;
  • potatoes - 3 medium-sized root vegetables;
  • pickled cucumbers – 4 pcs. medium size;
  • eggs – 4 pcs.;
  • cheese – 100 g;
  • green onions - a bunch;
  • chips, olives, mayonnaise.

Boil the potatoes in their skins, cool under running cold water, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Place the product prepared in this way on a dish in the shape of a circle and grease with mayonnaise.

Finely chop the onion and place on the potatoes. Place cod liver mashed with a fork or mashed pieces of canned fish in the same way on top. There is no need to coat these two layers with sauce.   • onion – 1 head;
  • sugar and vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon each;
  • chips, olives, mayonnaise.

Boil potatoes and carrots directly in their skins, cool and peel. Chop the potatoes and grate the carrots on a medium grater. Dilute vinegar and dissolve sugar in a small amount of water. Pour the resulting marinade over the onion, cut into half rings, lightly mash it with your hands and leave for 10 minutes. Peel the apples and chop them. Cut crab sticks into small pieces. Cut the olives lengthwise into 4 pieces to make improvised seeds.

Place the potatoes on a dish, lightly add salt and grease with mayonnaise. By and large, you can turn absolutely any salad into a Sunflower. There is no special wisdom here. How to do it? More on this a little later, but for now there are a few key points that you should never forget about.

The main ingredients of the classic Sunflower are: chicken, mushrooms, cheese and chips. It makes no sense to say that all these products must be fresh and high quality. This is an axiom. And it doesn’t matter what kind of salad will be prepared.

Chicken breast works best for Sunflower. Although some chefs recommend using meat from chicken drumsticks or thighs. It's a matter of taste. But you can use any mushrooms. The theme will include fresh, frozen, dried, and pickled.

Frozen and fresh mushrooms are pre-fried in oil until tender and lightly salted. You can add a little pepper during frying. This will only give the product additional taste.

Dried mushrooms must first be soaked in hot water, or better yet, in milk. Only when they have steeped can you put them in a frying pan and cook them just like fresh ones. There are no problems at all with pickled mushrooms. You can immediately cut them into a salad.

We need to take cheese more seriously. It is clear that it should only be of durum varieties. The best option, of course, would be Parmesan, although some experts recommend using cheddar for a better combination of flavors. But in principle, any other one will do. The main thing is that the cheese does not melt from the heat and does not turn into a continuous stretchy mass.

And of course, what would a Sunflower be without the golden petals made from chips decorating it? The choice of this seemingly insignificant ingredient must be approached with all seriousness. It's worth starting with the fact that the chips should be the same size. Often the housewife simply does not have time to open several packs and select crispy slices that are suitable in shape and size. But fortunately, it is now easy to find varieties of this product on sale with chips made according to the same pattern.

As for taste, there’s no point in experimenting too much. Ordinary chips with salt are quite suitable, or in extreme cases, cheese-flavored ones. But it is better to avoid any exotic varieties. Why interrupt the taste of natural products with strange artificial additives?
