Our next step is to chop the onions. Try to make thin half rings.

To do this, mix the egg, mayonnaise and grated hard cheese in a bowl.

You can add tomatoes if you wish, but this depends on the season and availability of the product.

  • 0.3 kg pork, as for chops;
  • a small pack of mayonnaise;
  • 50 g butter;
  • 0.15 g cheese;
  • 2 onions;
  • 1 kg of potato tubers;

  2. If the recipe you choose contains pork, then it is better to give preference to the neck, loin or juicy part of the ham. This meat is a perfectly balanced option - not too fatty, but not lean either. Which part of pork to use for the dish?

Therefore, if you decide to marinate, then use a dry mixture of a small amount of salt and spices. Then you no longer need to use additional spices before baking in the oven.

What should the oven temperature be and how long should it cook?

Most likely, this particular option can be considered traditional; there is nothing superfluous in it. We'll talk about additional ingredients below.

  1. Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into round pieces about 5 mm thick.
  2. Peel the onions and cut into half rings. There is no need to cut it very thin; it should be felt in the finished dish.
  3. Cut the meat into thin 0.7-1 cm slices, about the size of half a palm.
  4. Place on a board, add salt and pepper, cover with cling film or a plastic bag and beat lightly. Without fanaticism, so as not to break. Turn over and repeat on the second side.
  5. Let the meat lie on a baking sheet for now, greased with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise and sprinkled with spices and at the same time, by the way, marinate.
  6. And we'll fry the potatoes. In the vast majority of recipes, raw potatoes are placed on meat and baked that way. And guess what? Pork cooks quickly in the oven, and potatoes cook slowly. If you wait for it to become soft and even brown, there is a danger of drying out the meat. That's why I always fry it until half cooked. To do this, heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the potato mugs, stir until coated with oil and fry until a light crust forms. No need until ready.
  7. We begin to assemble the dish into the oven. Place onions on top of the meat.
  8. And potatoes for it.
  9. Grease with sauce again and add finely grated cheese.

  • a sprig of thyme or a pinch of dried;
  • sunflower oil – 2 tbsp;
  • butter – 30g.

How to cook meat in French with mushrooms and cheese

  1. In this version, the dish looks beautiful when the pork is cut into small pieces, no larger than 7 cm by 7 cm. They also need to be beaten and salted. Fold into shape.
  2. It is better to take large (but not old) champignons and cut them into slices from cap to stem. Heat sunflower and butter in a frying pan. Fry the mushrooms a little in a mixture of oils for better taste.
