To prepare the Negro's Kiss cake you will need:

Measure sugar and flour in a glass - 250 g.

For the cakes:

sugar - 3 cups;

butter - 250 g;

kefir - 0.5 liters;

soda - 2 tsp, slaked with vinegar or 2 tsp. baking powder

flour - 4 cups;

vanillin, lemon zest - optional and to taste.

For cream:

To prepare the cakes, grind sugar and vanillin with butter.

Gradually add sifted flour 1 cup at a time. The dough for the cakes is ready; the consistency will resemble thick sour cream.

Pour the dough into the mold to a height of 1.5-2 cm. I have a mold with a diameter of 23 cm. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden skewer. As a result, you get 3 cakes, about 3 cm high. Previously, I made them in molds of a smaller diameter, which resulted in 2 cakes about 8 cm high.

To prepare the cream, beat the softened butter with a mixer, gradually adding 1-2 teaspoons of condensed milk (if you add all the condensed milk at once, you can spoil the cream). Coat the cooled cakes with cream. Decorate the Negro's Kiss cake as desired. You can use coconut shavings, or you can use grated chocolate. This time I decorated with fondant.   7. Grind the walnuts.
  8. Cut the finished cooled sponge cake into 2 cake layers (or you can bake 2 cake layers separately, after dividing the dough into 2 parts).
  9. Take the thickened cream out of the refrigerator and grease the cake. Sprinkle nuts on top.
  10. Cover with the second cake layer and spread cream on top. The sides of the cake can be completely coated with cream or left dripping.

Options with milk and especially white chocolate may seem too sweet precisely because of the lack of bitterness. Therefore, I usually try to order Superdickmann's marshmallows, in which the bombs are 3 times larger and are covered only with dark chocolate. They usually arrive in a more presentable form, since they are not so fragile. But this time they are not available on the website It was, unfortunately. But let's return to our “kisses.”

So, the bombs are small, very light and airy, swallowed in one sitting! Covered with chocolate in a continuous layer and evenly. The chocolate is real, very aromatic and tasty, without a whitish coating.


Having eaten just one “kiss”, you immediately eat a wafer, a chocolate bar, and a soufflé. Not a bad set of only 35 calories, isn't it?



An indirect confirmation of the naturalness of the bombs is a real-life incident. Once in the spring, my little room in Germany was invaded by red ants; for some reason they decided that my semi-basement apartment was an integral part of their route. So, after they finally passed my territory, one brave group settled in just such a kiss. They gnawed through it and crawled inside, devouring the entire soufflé. And when I once decided to enjoy myself and was choosing which one to eat, one of the kissers twitched and moved. To say that I was scared is to say nothing. And by the way, they also chose a “mini-kiss” with dark chocolate, although the chocolate itself remained untouched.

You can find such a delicacy in almost any country in Europe.(I bought in Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany).
