Below is a selection of recipes for sweet sausage, which requires a minimum of products and a minimum of skills. But the result is amazing!

Classic sausage made from cookies and cocoa “like in childhood” - step-by-step photo recipe

There are recipes that accompany a person from childhood. Very often, mothers and grandmothers prepare a simple, but very tasty dessert that is liked not only by children, but also by adults, and it is called sweet sausage.

The sweet sausage recipe may be the first recipe that a novice pastry chef can master. You can involve children in its preparation from the age of 9-10, and a teenager of 12-13 years old can cope with preparing sweet sausage from cookies on his own.

For sweet sausage you need:

  • 500 - 550 g cookies.
  • 30 - 40 g cocoa powder.
  • 220 g butter.
  • 180 - 200 g sweetened condensed milk.

Preparation:

1. Grind cookies into flour using any method. The most convenient way is to pass it through a meat grinder and break 3-4 cookies into small pieces with your hands.

2. Pour condensed milk into the ground cookies. Stir.

3. Melt the butter. Pour it into the mixture of cookies and condensed milk. Stir.

4. Add cocoa. Those who like a more chocolatey taste can add a little more.

5. Mix the sweet sausage mixture well.

6. Transfer the mixture of cookies, butter, condensed milk and cocoa into bags and shape into sausages.

7. Place the sweet sausage in the freezer for an hour. Cut the finished sweet sausage and serve. If desired, you can add a small amount of walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts to this dish.

Chocolate sausage made from cookies

Don’t think that chocolate sausage was invented by the mothers of Soviet children out of despair and a shortage of sweets. This delicacy is considered almost national in Portugal, and today it can be found in various food establishments, from cafes to chic restaurants.

Only the classic Portuguese recipe contains real chocolate, not cocoa powder, so you will need a little less butter.

Ingredients:

  • Cookies (the simplest, for example, “Chess”) - 300 gr.
  • Bitter chocolate – 1 bar.
  • Butter – 150 gr.
  • Cognac (if the sausage is prepared as an “adult dessert”).
  • Cocoa powder – 5 tbsp. l.
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp. l.
  • Condensed milk – 1 can.
  • Nuts (walnuts, peanuts, almonds) – 50-100 g each. (the more, the tastier).
  • Powdered sugar for decoration.

Algorithm of actions:

  1. Crumble the cookies according to the classic recipe into a deep container. Chop the nuts as well.
  2. In a separate heatproof container, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Then add the chocolate to the oil and, stirring, dissolve it.
  4. Pour cocoa powder into this chocolate-butter mixture and pour in condensed milk. Heat, stirring, until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
  5. Mix cookies and nuts in a container.
  6. Pour the yummy food removed from the heat here. Mix.
  7. Form into an oblong sausage, reminiscent of classic salami. Wrap in cling film.
  8. Place in the refrigerator.

Now the whole family will have to somehow endure several hours while the amazingly delicious dessert cools. When serving, cut the sausage into beautiful circles and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Delicious sweet sausage made from cookies with condensed milk

You can often find recipes for homemade chocolate sausage that require boiling milk and then dissolving sugar in it. Today, housewives more often use faster technology, using condensed milk (naturally sweet) instead of regular milk with sugar. Then the cooking time becomes several times shorter.

Ingredients:

  • Cookies, such as “Chess”, “Strawberry” – 600 gr.
  • Condensed milk – 1 can.
  • Butter – 200 gr. (large pack).
  • Cocoa powder – 4-5 tbsp. l.
  • Vanillin.
  • Nuts (optional or if available, you can do without them).

Algorithm of actions:

  1. Breaking cookies can be entrusted to the youngest generation; the main thing is to ensure that the product is not eaten before the completion of the technological process.
  2. Melt the butter over low heat, add condensed milk, vanillin and cocoa powder. Stir into a homogeneous creamy chocolate mass.
  3. If you decide to add nuts when preparing homemade chocolate sausage, then you need to peel them, then heat them in a frying pan without oil to enhance the nutty taste and smell.
  4. Grind in a mortar and add to the cookies. Mix.
  5. Pour the creamy chocolate mixture into this mixture. Stir.
  6. Form sausages. It can be one large and fairly thick “sausage”, or several smaller ones.
  7. Wrap each one in cling film. Hide in a cool place for several hours.

This chocolate sausage is very tasty with tea or coffee!

Creamy biscuit sausage

Butter is one of the important ingredients when preparing the famous homemade “chocolate sausage”. It is butter that is used, and not a fashionable spread or margarine, then the sausage has a special signature taste that will be remembered for a long time.

Ingredients:

  • Shortbread cookies, the simplest and most inexpensive - 200 gr.
  • Butter – 100-150 gr.
  • Granulated sugar – 3 tbsp. l.
  • Cocoa powder – 2-4 tbsp. l.
  • Fresh milk – 3-5 tbsp. l.
  • Walnuts (or any other, or mixture) – 80-100 gr.

Algorithm of actions:

  1. Heat the milk, mix with sugar and cocoa powder to form a homogeneous milk-chocolate mass.
  2. Add butter, continue heating, stirring all the time.
  3. Break cookies, such as “Chess”, into small pieces. You can do this by hand, grind it in a meat grinder with a large-hole rack, or put it in a bag, cover with a towel and tap with a kitchen hammer.
  4. Add broken cookies to the creamy chocolate mixture.
  5. Pre-shell walnuts or other nuts and remove the partitions. Chop finely and fry to enhance the flavor.
  6. Mix the sausage mixture. Form into oblong loaves, similar to salami.
  7. Wrap it in cling film and hide it away in the refrigerator.

The chocolate sausage must be thoroughly cooled before serving. A little powdered sugar won't hurt for beauty!

And other confectionery products from Soviet times, we suggest adding another recipe from childhood to your culinary notebook. Chocolate sausage made from cookies does not require long baking; it is prepared very simply and quite quickly (if you do not take into account the time required for the dessert to harden).

To prepare sweet sausage, any nuts, dried fruits and other additives of your choice are suitable. You can also vary the portion of cocoa powder, resulting in either a light “ham” or a rich dark “smoked” sausage.

Ingredients:

  • shortbread cookies - 200-220 g;
  • cocoa powder - 3 tbsp. spoons;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • milk - 30 ml;
  • sugar - 5 tbsp. spoon;
  • walnuts or any other nuts - a handful.

Chocolate sausage made from cookies recipe with photo

  1. Grind approximately ½ of the shortbread cookies using a blender to the smallest possible crumbs. We break the remaining portion with our hands, preserving large fragments - these pieces of cookies will create a decorative pattern contrasting in color, which will give the finished dessert a visual resemblance to sausage.
  2. Place a stick of butter in a small ladle/saucepan, add sugar and, stirring, melt over low heat. There is no need to boil the mixture - as soon as the sugar grains are completely dissolved, turn off the heat.
  3. Pour cocoa powder into the hot oily liquid, thanks to which the dessert will turn dark and acquire the taste of chocolate.
  4. Next, pour in milk at room temperature. Mix vigorously until smooth.
  5. Pour the resulting chocolate-colored liquid mixture into the crushed cookies. Add walnuts, lightly chopped with a knife.
  6. Mix the mixture, thoroughly soaking the ingredients in the sweet chocolate liquid. Our task is to obtain a homogeneous, dense “mush” with an even distribution of nuts and cookie fragments.
  7. Place the mixture on cling film. By tamping, we form a dense oblong block. Wrap the resulting chocolate cookie sausage in cling film and put it in the refrigerator. After 20-30 minutes, when the soft mass has already hardened slightly, we take out our almost finished dessert and roll it around the table several times, giving the chocolate bar a more “correct” round appearance.
  8. We return the sweet sausage from the cookies to the refrigerator shelf. It will take 5-6 hours for the chocolate mass to completely harden, but you can reduce this time by placing the product in the freezer. Having cut the ready-made dessert into thin mugs, we serve our delicacy with aromatic tea/coffee.
  9. Chocolate sausage made from cookies is completely ready! The dessert must be stored in the refrigerator and taken out only before drinking tea, so that the hardened mass does not have time to thaw.

Bon appetit!

Cookies are a delicious and quick dish that is accessible to most of us. Using simple manipulations with products that every housewife has in her home, you can prepare this wonderful delicacy. There are a huge number of recipes. Today we will talk about how to make sausage from cookies in several ways.

Main component

Cookie sausage is, as already mentioned, a simple and tasty delicacy. You can prepare it in several ways. In fact, each of these methods includes different ingredients. But it is prepared mainly from the same products. Which ones exactly?

What kind of biscuit sausage can there be without the most important component? It is best to use “Jubilee”, “Tea” or “For Coffee” for these recipes. Any other cookies that can be easily broken are also good for pastry sausages. In addition, you should not choose a product with additives. It is also recommended to set aside too sweet options, otherwise the sweet sausage made from cookies will be cloying.

One of the basic ingredients

If you don't have butter on hand, you can use margarine. In this case, of course, the dish will not be as tasty as it should be. Spreads cannot be used to prepare this sausage at all. It's all about not only the composition, but also the consistency of the product.

Almost chocolate...

An important component in the recipe is cocoa. Biscuit sausage cannot be made without it. You need to choose a quality product so that the delicacy turns out tasty and not bitter. Sausage made from cookies and cocoa is a delicious dessert for tea. But there is one problem here - which cocoa to choose?

Stores now offer a great variety of cocoa: both with sugar and without sugar, both bitter and not. There are also more than enough manufacturing companies. Many people believe that hot chocolate or children's cocoa drinks containing sugar can be used instead of cocoa. Frankly, this is a bad idea.

The most suitable would be bitter natural cocoa powder. You can buy it at any store. This product is cheap, and one package will last for a long time.

For food lovers

Good news for all those with a sweet tooth is that pastry sausage made from cookies also includes sugar. The latter is usually used in small quantities so that the dish is not spoiled, after all, it is called “chocolate sausage made from cookies.” The photo shows us that the bulk is somewhat reminiscent of chocolate, but sugar or powdered sugar is not visible to the naked eye. Of course, only granulated sugar is suitable for confectionery sausage. You can forget about refined sugar.

What else is used

Other ingredients can be used in cookies. Which ones exactly? Everything is limited only by your imagination (and, of course, the proposed recipe). When preparing this sausage, nuts and raisins are often used. They are a great addition to cookie filling. Peanuts are great for this dish.

It can also be made from cookies with condensed milk. In this case, it is better not to use sugar - the dish will already be quite sweet. Condensed milk will give the delicacy a special, refined taste.

Sausage "Neighbor"

Of course, sweet confectionery sausage can contain real chocolate. The most suitable option is dark dark chocolate. It should either be grated on a fine grater or broken into small pieces. There is no need to add a lot of this ingredient - remember that the composition will already contain cocoa powder.

Now you can start preparing a dish called “cookie sausage.” The recipe that we are going to look at is quite simple, although a little unusual. You will understand why exactly by reading a few more ways to prepare pastry sausage.

Cookies, 400 g;

Nuts, 100 g;

Bitter black chocolate, 100 g;

Condensed milk, 1 can;

A little powdered sugar.

Cookie sausage can be made in many ways. The recipe below is considered a classic, because it was in this composition that sweet sausage was originally produced.

What you will need:

Cocoa, 3 tbsp;

Cookies, 0.5 kg;

Sugar, one glass.

How to cook:

1. Take the cookies, place them in a deep bowl and crush them. You can do this with your hands, use a mortar, or use a hammer to beat the meat. If you have a meat grinder or blender, it is advisable to grind cookies using these devices.

2. Place the oil in a small bowl. Melt it in the microwave. Add cocoa powder there and stir. You don't have to melt the butter. It will be enough to warm it up a little until soft, then cut it into small pieces, add to the cookies, mix, and then add and mix sugar and cocoa powder. This will not change the taste - here the matter is limited by your desire.

3. Add sugar and mix again.

4. Pour the butter into the cookies and mix again until smooth.

5. Form the dough into a sausage and wrap it in cling film. Place the sausage in the freezer for two hours.

6. Remove and unwrap the sausage. The dish is ready.

"Pleasure"

What you will need:

Hazelnuts, 100 g;

Butter, 1 package;

Egg, 2 pcs.;

Cookies, 0.2 kg;

Milk chocolate, 100 g.

How to cook:

1. Grind the hazelnuts. A coffee grinder is best for this. If you don't have it on hand, buy already chopped nuts.

2. Crumble the cookies in a bowl. It's best to do this by hand.

3. Add chocolate, butter, cocoa and eggs to the pan.

4. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

5. Remove liquid from heat. Add cookies and nuts. Stir.

6. Place the resulting dough in foil or cling film, wrapping it in a sausage.

7. Now all that’s left is to put the dish in the freezer for a couple of hours. After this, the delicacy will be completely ready for consumption.

Now you know how to prepare sweet sausage from cookies. Good luck in your culinary endeavors!

The recipe, when I saw it, I remembered my childhood and my favorite delicacy that my mother made :) This was the first requirement as soon as I saw cookies and cocoa in the store. This was probably the first dish, which I was eager to help make myself and deliberately did not smear the bowl dry, so that later there would always be something left to lick...

Let's start with the cookies. In the photo there is about half as much of it - the rest has already been chopped up. Approximately 2/3 of it should be ground into flour. During my childhood, the only mechanized means of grinding it was a meat grinder, which I cranked with pleasure, anticipating future delicacies. In our high-tech times, you can use a blender.

The remaining cookies need to be chopped into small pieces, mixed with the ground mass and added chopped nuts.

After this we move on to the next stage. Take a small saucepan and pour cocoa and sugar into it. By the way, somehow we didn’t have enough cocoa and we used hot chocolate in bags - it turned out quite well.

Mix them and pour in the milk. Mix all this again thoroughly until smooth and put on low heat.

Stirring, do not let it burn and bring it all to a boil (about 5 minutes). As soon as the milk boils, turn off the heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes.

Meanwhile, cut the butter into cubes and throw them into this chocolate mixture. Mix everything until the oil is completely dissolved and the substance is homogeneous.

Now pour everything into the cookies.

Mix thoroughly. You should get a mass that resembles a homogeneous... mmm... but not dull :) At this stage, you can take a preliminary sample - you should like it.

The time has come to give a doctoral/servilate/liver form to our creation. In this case, we took foil (there was nothing else suitable), but I would strongly advise taking something like food parchment. It will be much more convenient to tear it off the sausage, which cannot be said about foil.

So, take foil/parchment and lay out uh... elongated characteristic sausages of this brown substance on it. Believe me, it looks strange, but it tastes very good :)

Then we wrap this bar and move on to the next one. As a result, I got this many of them:

Once they have cooled a bit, place the sausages in the refrigerator or freezer. The dish will be ready for the table in 2-3 hours.
