Summer is almost on the doorstep! A little more, and parents will breathe freely, hiding their children's school backpacks in the cabinets. A little more, and each family gets ready for the road - to relax in nature, walk the children tired of the school year and forget about the bustle of the city. The main thing is not to forget anything.

Therefore, choosing a place and time for a picnic, we study the list of necessary things and products for a picnic in advance

What to take on a picnic from food and products - a list of what to cook for a picnic for the whole family

  • Fruits and vegetables. They should be washed and packed in advance so as not to waste time on nature. Yes, and clean water at a picnic - the amount is limited (we take more!). It will come in handy for fish soup, delicious tea, washing hands and laundering your little ones. Do not get carried away with exotic fruits, so as not to spend your picnic behind the bushes closest to the parking lot. From vegetables, they usually take a standard set - tomatoes, cucumbers, greens, zucchini for barbecue, potatoes (medium - for baking), bell peppers, onions - for barbecue and fish soup. By the way, potatoes can be boiled in advance at home in their uniforms.

  • Canned food. This, of course, is not about stew (unless your plans include a week-long trip with a tent), but about canned food for a side dish - corn, beans, green peas, olives, lightly salted cucumbers, etc.

  • For sandwiches. It is advisable to choose ready-made cuts in packages in the store in order to save yourself time on a picnic - hard cheeses, sausage or boiled pork, lard, etc.

  • Meat, fish, eggs. It is better to fry the fish at home in pieces, choosing a fillet (it will be just too lazy to mess with the bones, and for children it will be an extra headache). Meat can also be cooked at home or marinated for barbecue (for 1 person - about 0.5 kg) and take with you in a convenient container for cooking on the grill. Chicken kebab (by the way) cooks faster. And there is also an option - chicken wings fried over a fire with spices. And, of course, cold fried chicken will be a joy for everyone - do not forget about it, cook it in advance. Hard boil the eggs the day before.

  • Sugar, salt, sauces (mayonnaise / ketchup), spices.

  • Nutrition for children. If your kids do not eat adult food, make sure that they also have a holiday. In addition to the main food of children, you can take their favorite fruits, juices, sweets. It will be difficult to cook porridge on a fire, so instant porridge will be the way out - fortunately, there is no shortage of them today. Choose sweets without quickly spoiling creams and cream.
  • Bread, bun(for different packages!), biscuits, crackers, cookies.

  • Beverages - tea (in bags), coffee (it is especially tasty in nature), juices, water (with a margin), drinks for adults (in moderation).

A little about the rules for transporting and eating food at a picnic:

  • Do not take perishable food with you. We leave pates, raw eggs, cakes, soft cheeses, curds and all sorts of super-fresh buns at home.

  • Get a portable cooler for your car Or at least a cool bag. Especially if you are traveling with children. Ready meals are transported only in it. If this is not possible, line the bottom of the bag with newspaper and line the food with bottles of cold water. In nature, you can make a refrigerator the old fashioned way - by digging a hole in a shady piece of land (sand) and hiding packaged products in it.

  • All products and prepared meals should be placed in plastic containers. - firstly, it is convenient (nothing will spill, wrinkle, lose its appearance), and secondly, container lids can be useful for serving the “table”.

It is clear that it makes no sense to carry cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers and a bowl of cutlets with you if you are going to fry kebabs. But while this barbecue is cooked, you will have time to get hungry 10 times. Therefore, look for the golden mean and take what will really be relevant and tasty.

List of things for a picnic for the whole family - what do you need for a picnic in nature?

Of course, the list of things for each will be different. If you are traveling “on foot”, for a day and alone, this is one option, but if you are traveling with a large company (family), for the weekend and in 2-3 cars, it is completely different.

Therefore, proceed from your needs, and we will tell you what can be useful on a picnic.

  • Tent. Even if you are going for a day, it can be useful for those who want to relax, take a nap, sober up, or play pirates and mother-daughters. A tent-tent will also be useful, which will save heads from the sun and sudden rain.

  • sleeping bags, bedspreads, blankets, rugs - without them, there’s absolutely no way to go to a picnic.
  • Oilcloth for the "table" . Or maybe even the table itself (folding), if there is enough space in the car.
  • Folding chairs or sun loungers. Or air mattresses (beds) and pillows - for convenience (do not forget about the pump). Folding chairs - for the elderly.

  • Warm clothes in case a long picnic is planned - with morning fishing, night songs around the fire with hot mulled wine and late awakenings to the singing of birds.
  • For the fire. Charcoal for barbecue, firewood hatchet (+ firewood, if they are not available on site), spatula, lighters / matches, newspapers for ignition, gloves.
  • Barbecue, skewers, grill grate. Foil for baking potatoes, fish or vegetables.

  • bowler hat under the ear and mulled wine, a cast-iron frying pan, a long spoon for stirring.
  • For fishing: fishing rods / spinning rods, baits / nozzles, cage, boat / pump, bait, fishing line, hooks / sinkers.
  • For the table: disposable tableware - plates of different sizes and depths, glasses, plastic cutlery.
  • Paper and wet wipes , toilet paper, liquid soap.
  • Corkscrew, can opener , ordinary knives for cutting food, cutting board.
  • Remedies for UV rays, for sunburn, against mosquitoes and ticks (sprays and creams, spirals).
  • Sun umbrellas.
  • Bathing items : swimwear / swimming trunks, towels, rubber rings and mattresses.
  • first aid kit(iodine, brilliant green, bandages, patches, activated charcoal, remedies for abdominal pain and indigestion, antispasmodics and analgesics, allergy medications, for the heart, etc.).
  • For fun : guitar, radio or receiver, games (chess, backgammon, etc.), ball, flying saucer, badminton, book or newspaper with crossword puzzles.
  • For children: toys (easy to clean), a set of a young builder of sand castles, a pool for toddlers, felt-tip pens / albums (if kids are drawn to creativity). Necessarily - a change of clothes, comfortable shoes, warm clothes, panama hats on your heads and a navigator-keychain around your neck (so as not to get lost).
  • Garbage bags to take all the rubbish with you after the picnic.
  • Camera, camera, phone, flashlights . With spare batteries.

List:

  1. Tent. For a good outdoor recreation you will need a tent if you are not driving. Or if all the vacationers cannot fit in the car interior.
  2. Inflatable mattress or karimat.
  3. Sleeping bag single or double.
  4. Folding table.
  5. Cookware set. Metal is best.
  6. gas burner or tiles.
  7. Collapsible brazier.
  8. Charcoal.
  9. Flashlight, for night lighting.
  10. Warm clothes, for a cool night. Or if you go out into nature not in the summer season.
  11. Toys. For children, a ball, rackets, paper with pencils or paints, it depends on your imagination and desire. Also, stock up on some.
  12. Products. Let's not forget about children and their nutrition.

Of course, you can not take all this, but you can pick up a bunch of all sorts of things, I don’t mind. But based on my personal experience, I write in more detail what to take with you to nature with an overnight stay, since with a set of these things, the rest always turns out to be good, which suits both me and my friends. Next, I want to explain why I consider the things I have listed necessary for a normal good rest.

Tent

Previously, when the car was smaller, in order to free up space in the cabin, I set up a tent next to the car, and everything that was not needed in the cabin was put into it. If it starts to rain, things remain dry, and from an aesthetic point of view, there is more order on the camp, there are no things scattered here and there. You can also spend the night in a tent if the volume of the cabin does not allow everyone to fit in it. I have a simple proven eight, which is easy to unfold and also easily folds into a ring.

Now, since the space in the new car allows you to place all things inside, the need for a tent has disappeared. If someone does not have a tent, but there is a desire to buy one, I can recommend an inexpensive budget one. In the summer, when my wife and children went to rest in the mountains, I bought for them an inexpensive, easy to assemble, weighing only 2.150 kg, which is 2.0 kg less than the figure eight, the assembled size in the case is 0.59 * 0.19 * 0.1 m worth $33.

And when it started to rain in the mountains, it turned out to be also very moisture resistant. In general, my family was satisfied with the purchase.

If you are planning to spend the night in a tent and you do not have a mattress instead, a lightweight carimat that does not allow moisture and heat to pass through is perfect.

Inflatable mattress

Since we travel by car and very often overnight, I bought an inflatable double mattress, which fits very comfortably into the cabin.
When folded, it takes up very little space. Immediately, there was no need to carry bulky wadded mattresses with you.

double mattress

In order not to carry bedspreads, blankets, and pillows with you, I advise you to buy a single or double sleeping bag. And warm and cozy.

Lighting at night

When leaving for an overnight stay, I advise you to definitely take flashlights with you, now there are very convenient economical ones for frontal ones on sale, but you can take any one as long as it shines.
I think that batteries are best suited for a flashlight, they are capacitive for a long time and there is no need to buy batteries every trip, besides, if the batteries are not removed from the flashlight in time, they can leak and ruin the flashlight.

You can buy a small gasoline power generator like my friends. Using a generator allows you to carry ordinary household appliances with you, it all depends on the power of the generator.

I won’t write much about the fact that you need to take warm clothes with you, change of clothes, it goes without saying it all depends on the time of year and the weather.

Convenience of rest - folding table and chairs

A folding table with chairs will free you from sitting on the damp ground when eating, annoying ants and insects, as well as debris and sand on the dining cover.
Also, to get a good outdoor recreation, especially when you go to one place for more than one day, and do not plan frequent moves. You can purchase a lightweight collapsible tent with a mosquito net and detachable walls made of light bologna. A table is easily placed in such a tent. In bad weather, it will shelter from rain and wind, and on a hot day from the sun and annoying insects.

Crockery and miscellaneous trifles for outdoor recreation with an overnight stay

By purchasing a ready-made set of camping dishes or by collecting dishes in a separate box or bag, you will save yourself the hassle of collecting cups, spoons, etc. when going out into nature. And upon arrival on vacation, the most unpleasant thing is if it turns out that something necessary is left at home. Here is a simple example of such a backpack in which the items listed below can easily fit.

  • four small bowls
  • one big deep
  • four forks
  • four tablespoons
  • two tearooms
  • four mugs
  • scaler
  • cutting board
  • towel
  • flashlight
  • insect repellant
  • napkins
  • toilet paper
  • pan
  • small saucepan

It also contains a gas burner nozzle with a cylinder, in case you need to light a fire in wet weather. The burner can sometimes be used to heat water or cook food.

What to take with you to nature with an overnight stay from products:

  • vegetable oil bottle
  • bottle of vinegar
  • sugar
  • jar of flour
  • pepper
  • Bay leaf
  • dill, spices.

From drugs

  • citramon
  • chloramphenicol
  • hydrogen peroxide
  • cotton bandage
  • rubber bandage
  • and those medicines that you deem necessary, depending on your health.

Detergents

It’s also a good idea to put a bottle of detergent in it so as not to put dirty dishes in a backpack.

Gas stove

To free yourself from collecting firewood, washing with soiled soot from a fire, dishes of hands and clothes, it is good to take a small gas stove with a gas canister with you. Now the stores sell compact hiking.

On it you can cook anywhere, even right in the car. If you are a fan of cooking on an open fire or coals, I advise you to purchase a collapsible brazier. Moreover, by kindling a fire on the ground, you spoil nature and risk starting a fire. In addition to skewers, it’s good to buy a grill grate for the barbecue, you can fry barbecue and chicken, fish and sausages in it ... What else to take with you to nature for cooking anything on the grill, it’s good to take charcoal with you, now it is sold in almost all hunting stores. This will free you from collecting a lot of firewood. Coal ignites well, burns for a long time, gives a good heat and does not spark. The coal that has not burned to the end, you can put out and take with you on your next trip.

what to take with you to nature from food:

There is no clear answer to the question of what to take with you to eat. It all depends on the material possibilities and tastes of each. I will list what I take most often and you can choose what you need.

  • Bread, loaf, grilled chicken, smoked or boiled sausage, sausages, bacon, salted lard, canned meat, pate, gingerbread, sweets, salt, sugar.
  • Regular noodles, chicken soup set, instant noodles, barbecue, frozen dumplings, raw or boiled eggs.
  • Fresh or salted tomatoes, fresh or salted cucumbers, onions, potatoes, fruit, watermelon, melon.
  • Drinking water, mineral water, drinks, juice, milk.
  • Seasoning universal, tea leaves or coffee.

You can add something of your own. I want to remind you that you need to pay attention to the terms and conditions of storage of products and eat all perishable products in the first place.

What to take children to eat outdoors

The fresh air and running about make children hungry, and to kill it, I advise you to bring a dry breakfast of corn balls or cereal, and a carton of milk with a screw cap. Although of course a lot depends on your capabilities and funds, as well as the capacity of your car or trailer.

HOW TO ENTERTAIN YOURSELF AND ENTERTAIN CHILDREN IN NATURE it seems to me that everything you need to take with you to nature, so that you and your household are satisfied with the trip. Have a nice holiday!

A good vacation needs to be well organized. What to take with you when going to nature? How not to forget anything? Yes, it's very simple, get together according to our list!

No wonder they say: the best vacation is an organized vacation. Therefore, when planning to make a trip to nature, you need to carefully consider what to take with you.

To begin with, of course, it is worth deciding where exactly to go: whether it will be a family picnic in the park or a long trip out of town. If you are going on a trip through the mountains, then you need a good all-terrain vehicle. Russian-made vehicles are best suited, because Russian cars are more adapted to bumps on the roads. A good option is a field, the rental price of which is very affordable.

Regardless of which vacation option you choose, the supplies you will need are about the same. So, if you are going on an overnight vacation, then, of course, you will need tents, sleeping bags and other accessories for living in the wild. Let's make a list of what we might need:

  1. Food. The set of products should be simple, no frills:
    • cheese, sausage
    • fruits, vegetables (necessarily pre-washed)
    • necessarily salt
    • drinking water, juices
    • tea bags
    • barbecue meat or barbecue
    • canned food (sprats, ready-made snacks, fish or meat cuts). Before buying, check the expiration date.
  2. Drinks (alcoholic drinks, mineral water, juices, kvass, lemonade). It is better to take drinks in plastic packaging, because. it is lighter.
  3. Dishes. Spoons, forks, all sorts of plates, cups. It is best to buy plastic disposable tableware. Do not forget a knife (you can take a pair), a corkscrew, a bottle opener. And the ideal option is a Swiss knife. Also, do not forget the tablecloth (you can also use a thin one-time tablecloth so that it would not be a pity to throw it away). Paper napkins, towels. And the most important! Devices for frying meat: skewers, grill, barbecue.
  4. If possible, bring folding tables and chairs with you. If there is none, then the hood of the car can serve as a table. Burning is not so convenient, but fun!
  5. Fire equipment: paper, wood and matches. Firewood can be collected at the place of rest (in this case, you will need a hatchet). And you can take charcoal with you (ideal for picnics). An ax will not be superfluous.
  6. As an add-on, grab items for entertainment: a ball, badminton, cards.
  7. Be sure to flashlights with a set of spare batteries. First aid kit. Insect repellent. Garbage bags.

And, of course, in order to fit everything, it is better to travel in cars with a roomy trunk. Such models are widely represented as domestic

What do you need for a successful picnic? Of course, to gather a good company. And then you can start organizing.

1. Determine the day

We study the weather forecast and choose the warmest and sunniest day. The ideal picnic cannot be held in the rain and with a cold wind. If you do not believe in forecasts, then it is better to immediately buy several raincoats.

We agree on a date with friends. Is everything confirmed? Then we continue.

2. Find a good place

We are looking for a cozy green place with a beautiful view. You can go to the lake, take a walk to a picturesque clearing in the forest, or go to the nearest park. Or maybe there are mountains near your city?

3. Cook food

Now we are planning a picnic menu. It is best to prepare several different snacks and take plenty of fruit. It is desirable that the products are not perishable, otherwise you will have to take a cooler bag. Grab buns, cookies, light cakes, and hams - anything simple and tasty. Or make snacks according to our recipes.

  • Picnic Turkey Rolls

Cooking method: brush thin pita bread or cream cheese tortilla. Lay on toplettuce, turkey, tomato, egg, onion and avocado. Add a piece of bacon, gently roll into a tube and cut in half.

  • Tomatoes stuffed with mushrooms

Method of preparation: cut off the top of the tomato and carefully cut out the pulp. Drain the juice, finely chop the pulp. Fry chopped mushrooms and onions in a pan. Grate cheese, add tomatoes, onions, mushrooms to it. Season with pepper, add two tablespoons of mayonnaise or sour cream, mix. Divide the resulting mixture into tomatoes.

  • Mini sandwiches with curd cheese

Cooking method: cut Borodino bread into small pieces, spread tomato curd cheese on it. Roll up a slice of smoked sausage and put on a sandwich. Decorate with greenery.

However, no one forbids you to have a belly feast and cook a lot of original dishes!

4. Think about drinks

Everything is suitable for a picnic: from refreshing citrus. As for alcoholic drinks, we offer light ones - apple cider or fruit sangria.

  • Lemon Cucumber Lemonade with Basil

Cooking method: grate the cucumber on a coarse grater, squeeze the juice. Cut the lemon into two parts and squeeze the juice. Another cucumber and lemon cut into rings. Put cucumber and lemon rings in a jug or jar, pour in lemon-cucumber juice, sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or syrup, add basil leaves. Pour in water and let steep.

Lemonade is best transported in a large glass jar or plastic jug with a tight lid.

  • classic sangria

Cooking method: cut apple, orange and lemon into small pieces. Mix wine with water in a 1:1 ratio, add sugar - 3 tablespoons per 1 liter of wine. Put fruit in the drink. It is best to keep sangria in the refrigerator before serving. In our case, a cooler bag will do.

However, a bottle of good wine or regular juice will also do. It is only important to know in advance the preferences of all your friends. Food and drinks are ready - let's go!

5. Take tablecloths or a blanket

Now let's decide what will be our table. We need two tablecloths. The first is an ordinary film that we lay on the ground. The second is a beautiful fabric or a thin blanket, put on top of the film. It is the tablecloth that will set the tone for the entire picnic.

6. Decide where you will sit

There is a table, but what about the chairs? Soft pillows! Ask each guest to take a small cushion so that seating is not an issue at the picnic.

An option for those who love comfort is folding picnic furniture. The table and four stools fold up to the size of a diplomat, they can easily fit even in the trunk of a small car.

And in order not to be afraid of the evening coolness, take some warm and soft microfiber blankets with you - these can be found in the bedding salon.

Plaid from the salon, price: from 2,160 rubles.

7. Decide on the dishes

What kind of dishes to take - regular or disposable? Let's do without white plastic plates and cups and. Even if the dishes are disposable, then let it be a beautiful paper picnic set. But we insist on bringing the usual dishes with you - at least glasses for wine and several large plates for fruits and sandwiches.

And one more thing: take some wooden boards. For what? We will talk about this a little later.

Perhaps it makes sense to buy a special basket in which it is convenient to store and transport everything you need for a picnic.

8. Come up with entertainment

What will you do in nature? Grab badminton rackets, a Frisbee and don't forget a few board games like Imaginarium or Elias.

If you take children on a picnic, take care of their leisure time. Suitable, for example, board games-walkers.

Fun competitive game "Moana. Call of the Ocean" will captivate both children and adults. The task of the game is to cross the ocean, get to the mysterious island as quickly as possible and return the stolen heart of the goddess Te Fiti. Many other games for all ages can be found in the store.

"Moana. Call of the ocean”, price: from 132 rubles.

Do not neglect active rest! One of the fashionable entertainments is riding a hoverboard. Powerful and protected, it is great for off-road and rough terrain.

If you're having a picnic on the beach, bring bathing toys with you. By the way, air mattresses can replace seats if you spread your tablecloth on the sand.

Cool if you have a kite. You can also buy some sky lanterns and launch them after dark.

9. Consider serving

What will make your picnic truly cozy and festive? Original serving details. Use simple wooden boards for this: lay bread, meat and cheese cuts, cookies, fruits on them.

And, of course, we cannot do without a beautiful wicker basket, which is associated with a perfect picnic. You can not only put a lot of goodies in it, but also make it the center of the table. In addition, cute napkins and a pretty vase in which we will put fresh flowers will come in handy.

10. Collect bags

There are finishing touches left. The snacks are ready, the dishes are already in the car. What else to take?

  • Medicines. Collect a minimal first aid kit with painkillers, poisoning drugs and antiseptics.
  • Insect protection. Believe me, mosquitoes will also want to arrange a delicious dinner for themselves!
  • Water. Both drinking and technical.
  • Sunscreen. We don't want to spoil our skin under the sun, do we?
  • Wet wipes to dry your hands after greasy food.
  • Garbage bags. After you, not a single jar or piece of paper should remain in nature!

Table of contents [Show]

Gentle sun, flowering trees, cheerful company and, of course, delicious food - these are far from all the components of a good outdoor recreation. A carefree and pleasant pastime is guaranteed if you take everything you need with you. So that you don't forget anything, we have already compiled a list!

1. Before thinking about the picnic menu, you need to choose a good location for the location. If you already have a favorite and trusted place, then that's just fine, and you can move on to the next step.

If there is no such place, then when choosing it, give preference to the river bank next to the forest. The only negative is that you may spend a lot of time on the road. Another option is a city park, where there are already places for barbecue or just for gatherings.

2. Consider the composition of the company in which you would like to spend your day off. After inviting friends to a picnic, immediately distribute “duties” among them - what exactly to whom to take, buy or prepare.

3. Before the most interesting and delicious list, it is worth compiling another, no less important list of necessary things for a comfortable stay. It varies depending on the chosen place, the weather and the number of people, but, in general, the following things will come in handy for you:

  • folding chairs and a table;
  • sunbeds or deck chairs;
  • umbrella;
  • pads;
  • bedspreads or blankets;
  • towel;
  • insect repellents;
  • sunscreen.

If you are traveling with an overnight stay, then a tent is added.

Do not forget about comfortable shoes, clothes and a hat. Be sure to take a first aid kit with essentials.

Think about your entertainment: music, board games, badminton, etc. A camera or video camera will most likely come in handy too.

4. So, let's move on to the products. Think about how, where and on what you will prepare food. If you will fry meat, then be sure to take:

  • brazier or barbecue;
  • skewers or grill;
  • matches, lighter;
  • coals or firewood;
  • ignition agent;
  • several newspapers;
  • axe;
  • spatula for inflating;
  • water bottle.

Suitable for any occasion:

  • 1-2 cutting boards;
  • 2-3 sharp knives;
  • tablecloth or oilcloth;
  • dry and wet wipes;
  • disposable tableware (flat and deep plates, forks, knives, cups);
  • toothpicks;
  • corkscrew or opener;
  • trash bags.

Food and drink is the final and most enjoyable part of the list. For grilling barbecue you will need:

  • meat (it is important to choose tasty meat: a soft tender part with a pleasant color and smell, not watery, not sticky, elastic. Delicious kebab is obtained from pork neck, lamb, beef - especially from the internal tenderloin, rabbit meat, chicken, fish. If you have even the slightest doubt about meat, it is better to go to another store or to the market);
  • spices;
  • marinade products (depending on preferences): lemon, kefir, olive oil, mayonnaise, vinegar. For tougher meat, alcohol (but not wine, but cognac, vodka or beer) or fruits (for example, kiwi) can be added to the marinade. Don't skip the marinade - any store-bought meat requires it, as it's primarily a preservative to help keep the meat fresh and safe.

Barbecue is not all that can be cooked at a picnic. Ideal for grilling:

  • skewers;
  • sausages;
  • sausages;
  • hunting sausages.

Suitable for a snack in any case:

  • bread;
  • raw smoked or boiled-smoked sausage;
  • greens (parsley, dill, cilantro, onion, basil);
  • lettuce leaves;
  • vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bell peppers, sauerkraut, Korean carrots, celery, potatoes - it can be wrapped in foil and baked in ashes);
  • fruits (apples, pears, bananas, grapes, strawberries, cherries, apricots, plums, oranges, melon, watermelon);
  • seasonings and sauces (salt, pepper, ketchup, mayonnaise or other sauces);
  • portioned cupcakes or muffins;
  • cookies or crackers.
  • juices;
  • lemonade;
  • fruit drink;
  • mineral water;
  • good wine (strong alcohol is not recommended - it burns the receptors of the tongue and makes it impossible to enjoy all the flavors of food).

Have a nice holiday in nature!

A hike or a picnic in nature is perhaps the most affordable form of recreation. A trip to the forest, to a river or lake will allow you to relax and take a break from the bustle of the city without any special expenses. However, in order for the rest to be successful and not overshadowed by an annoying trifle, think over every detail, do not gain too much and do not forget anything.

Things, products and items needed for a picnic or hike may vary and will depend on their type. After all, you can go out into nature for a short time, just for a walk, for a whole day or even for several. The main purpose of the holiday can be exploring the surroundings, fishing, cooking barbecue, entertaining children.

If you are planning a short picnic, for example, in a park or a short walk through the forest or by the river, you won’t need a lot of food and things. You will need a blanket on which you can rest and dine, as well as food and drinks. Of the products, you can limit yourself to sandwiches prepared at home, and fruits. Be sure to take water and drinks, such as juice or tea in a thermos. Lunch can be made more varied, for example, take baked chicken or meat, fresh vegetables, cheese, light snacks. But keep in mind, in this case, you will also need a knife, dishes and napkins.

If you plan to go to nature for the whole day, you will need more food and additional things.

Food for a trip to nature can be selected differently. The main thing is that it should not be perishable: salads with mayonnaise, sour-milk products, pates, cakes, etc. You can find out more about dishes that can be prepared for a picnic in one of our publications. Now we will consider only the main products that you may need:

  • Drinking water, drinks. It can be mineral water, juices, compotes. It is good to freeze such drinks and mix them with food: this will keep freshness for a long time. You can also take a thermos with boiling water and tea or coffee bags in stickers.
  • Salt, sauces, spices, vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar. Salt is necessary in any case, sauces and spices will be required for barbecue, vegetables, meat, salads. Vinegar and oil are useful for dressing salads and cooking vegetables, sugar - for tea.
  • Vegetables, greens. They can be eaten fresh, used in salads and sandwiches, and grilled over charcoal.
  • Fruits. They serve as a dessert or a light snack.
  • Bread, lavash, cakes. For dessert, cookies.
  • Meat, poultry, fish. You can take marinated and cook on the spot. If you do not plan to make a fire - ready, fried or baked.
  • Cheeses, sausages, sausages, smoked meats. Sausages and sausages are suitable for cooking on coals, cheeses and sausages for sandwiches.
  • Products for sandwiches. It can be sliced: salmon, boiled pork; sprats, cheese paste, butter.

It is better to transport food in a basket: it not only looks more aesthetically pleasing than an abundance of bags, but also protects food from damage. A thermal bag is good for transporting food: it will protect it from spoilage.

In addition to food for a picnic, you will need some more things and items.

If you are planning a vacation for more than one day, in addition to the above, you will need:

  • tents,
  • everything you need to sleep - pillows, blankets, sheets, blankets - this will replace sleeping bags,
  • tourist foams or air mattresses - they will replace the usual ones.

You may also need a few things:

  • raincoats,
  • rope - you can dry clothes on it or use it to make a canopy,
  • construction film - useful for the construction of the same canopy,
  • changeable and warm clothes,
  • flashlight - preferably powerful and ordinary,
  • Toothbrush,
  • razor,
  • toothpaste,
  • thread and needle.

You can also diversify the proposed list of products with canned food.

If you are not going on a long hike, you should limit yourself to a minimum of things, because you will have to carry them. First of all, take care of the food. For a short hike, sandwiches are the best option. It is worth supplementing them with vegetables; fruits and cookies are suitable for dessert. In addition, you will definitely need backpacks, comfortable shoes and hats, as well as drinking water.

For a long trip, you need to prepare carefully. When packing, take into account the duration, difficulty of the route and weather conditions: it will depend on whether you should stock up on warm clothes or you can travel light. Discuss with the participants of the campaign who will take what, so as not to take the same thing. In any case, from the things you will need:

  • Backpack. It should be roomy and comfortable. A backpack with a volume of 50 to 70 liters is considered optimal, for strong men up to 100 liters. It should be made of dense, strong fabric, and its straps should be securely attached.
  • Tent, sleeping bag, mat. You will need them if you are planning an overnight trip. These things will make your stay as comfortable as possible.
  • Knife, axe, lighters or matches. Matches should be sealed. For example, wrap it in a bag and wrap it with tape.
  • Flashlight. Better take a forehead.
  • Cloth. You may need a pair of underwear or thermal underwear, three to four pairs of socks, a warm sweater, a pair of T-shirts, shorts, a hoodie, a hat, a windbreaker, jeans, sneakers, sandals, sleepwear, a swimsuit or swimming trunks - if your the route will come across ponds suitable for swimming.
  • Raincoat.
  • Hygiene items- toilet paper, wet wipes, soap, toothpaste, brush, hygienic lipstick.
  • Mirror, comb.
  • Towel.
  • Fishing rod.
  • Insect repellent, sunscreen.
  • Money and passport. Be sure to pack them in a sealed bag.

On a trip that will last more than one day, you should not take disposable dishes. It is better to take metal or plastic. You will need a spoon, bowl and cup for each person. In addition, one or two large common bowls, for example, for salads, a pot or pots, a frying pan, may come in handy. Select the volume and quantity of such dishes based on the size of the group. In addition, everyone should have a two-liter plastic bottle: this will allow you to replenish your water supply at any time.

Before deciding what food to take on a hike, study the route and find out if you will come across stores along the way. If so, you can take less food. If the campaign will take place far from settlements, food will have to be stocked up thoroughly so that it is enough for the entire trip.

The best food for a hike is canned food. Cereals will help restore strength. In addition to them, you can take with you pasta, small raw potatoes, vegetables, dried or dried meat, dried mushrooms, milk powder, beans, muesli, coffee, tea leaves, nuts, dried fruits, cookies, crackers. Be sure to put salt, spices, vegetable oil in your backpack. Replace bread with breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs. If the trip will not take place in hot weather, you can also take chocolate. So that pasta and cereals do not become damp, pour them into plastic bottles.

For children, the hike will be an exciting adventure. So that it is not a burden for the kids, carefully select the route and decide on the duration of the trip. Small children should not be taken on long trips. If you are hiking for the first time, limit yourself to one, maximum two days, while choosing simple routes. Over time, the duration and complexity of hikes can be increased.

In general, a child needs about the same as an adult. He must have a separate sleeping bag, rug and dishes. For very young children, take diapers, for older children - a potty. Get your child a small backpack: this way he will feel part of the team. Take care of children's leisure. This requires at least a minimum set of toys - pencils, a notebook, a ball, a frisbee, binoculars, a sand set.

Since children have an excellent appetite in the open air, take additional foods for them that they can eat on the road. It should be light in weight and high-calorie food that you can quickly get enough of, for example, dates, nuts, raisins, bagels, straws, dried apricots, gozinaki. Such products can be divided by the number of days of the trip and give the child a bag of such food daily.

Different things can happen in nature, no one is immune from injuries, stomach problems, headaches, so when going on a hike or on a picnic, be sure to put a first aid kit.

  • Panthenol- this is the best first aid in the summer for burns.
  • Painkillers.
  • Gastrointestinal remedies- from poisoning, diarrhea, heartburn.
  • bandage, plaster, peroxide, cotton wool, iodine, alcohol, brilliant green, tourniquet.
  • Antipyretic.
  • Cold remedies- if the rest will last more than one day; drops in the nose, ears, antiviral drugs.
  • Means that relieve itching and inflammation after insect bites.

You can take other medicines on a hike or a picnic, especially if there are people suffering from any diseases among the vacationers. If you are vacationing with a child, complete the first aid kit with children's products.

Graduation on Saturday was a success. Everyone was full and happy, there was enough of everything, no one was tormented by thirst.

I think that in the future, the calculation of products will come in handy more than once, how much barbecue you need, how much meat to buy for barbecue, and so on.

So I'll keep, perhaps, the menu for a picnic in nature, which turned out to be successful.
