Ingredients:

  • 180 g natural yoghurt
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 bunch dill
  • 1 st. l. lemon juice
  • 1 st. l. olive oil
  • Salt and ground white pepper to taste

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp. l. grated ginger root
  • 3 art. l. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Cooking:

Dissolve starch in pineapple juice and pour into a saucepan. Add soy sauce, sugar and put on fire.
While the sauce is heating, peel the garlic and squeeze through a press.
When the sauce warms up well, add garlic and ginger to it. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a spatula for 2 minutes.
Pour the sauce into a jar and set aside.

3. Bacon Jam

Ingredients:

  • 250 g smoked bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 st. l. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. l. apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Cooking:

Peel onion and garlic and finely chop. Bacon cut into 4 parts.
Put the pan on the fire and put the bacon on it. Fry, stirring with a spatula, until the bacon is crispy. Put the bacon into a bowl.
Fry the onion and garlic in the rendered bacon fat until golden brown. Pour in apple cider vinegar, add sugar, mix thoroughly and simmer for 2 minutes over medium heat.
Grind bacon with a masher or blender and combine with onions. Add paprika to it and mix well.
